Poco a Poco 7th annual Summer Music Fest
Poco a Poco is a nonprofit organization that strives to cultivate a more vibrant community through musical initiatives designed to educate and entertain. Founded by Streator native and professional mezzo-soprano Executive Director Kate Tombaugh in 2017, Poco a Poco joins passionate musicians, educators, and fine arts lovers. Poco a Poco's 7th annual Summer Music Festival aims to offer high-quality arts opportunities, performances, and advanced music education accessible, while encouraging young talent. Through instruction and guidance, Poco a Poco hopes to instill a life-long love for music and the arts in young musicians. The Young Artist training program is currently accepting applicants currently in grades 8-12 who will receive 35 hours of instruction in voice, piano, choir, and numerous electives and round table discussions. The Community Choir & String Ensembles offer a low-commitment, high-reward performance opportunity for vocalists and string players of all ages and levels.
